Springs New Look

I never thought that I would ever go for this type of fashion, but here i am loving it:

Print is coming back full power for this spring season, and def looking better. Everything from the bright and cheery colorful patterns, to the forever o so sexy leopard pattern.
Print makes for a fun and flirty day wherever you are, and i highly recomend it this season. Prints can be alittle hard to wear, especially if you are wearing a particularly busy peice. I would recomend going simple on the accessories, and a solid color that matches a predominant color in the pattern for shoes or top. Anything denim also looks great with print, for example:

nice huh? well you can get the look at Victoria's

So get out there and find the perfect print, just for you:)

Now that you all have your perfect little black dress and the right shade of red nails to go with it, its time for the perfect black pair of shoes!

Not just any type of shoes, the most perfect kind: pumps.

Im my opinion you can almost never go wrong with pumps. Pumps are the most sexy type of shoes to every be made for a woman's foot. And we will be looking at three of my favorite pairs.

#1 Colin Stuart Stitched Pumps [$68]

These are pretty much just perfect all around, there is only one shoe more perfect than these and they cost around an arm and a leg.

#2 Christian Louboutin Platform Pump [at a whopping $695]

What have we talked about? Whats more sexy than a flash of red on black? nothing.

The Right Shade

Equally challenging as finding the perfect little black dress is finding the perfect shade of eye popping, sexy, red nail polish for those sophisticated or mischievous hands. ;)
Like little black dresses, different shades of red can all equal perfection. And different shades can also fit different occasions. but there's nothing like that pop of red against black to spell woman.
Also like little black dresses, the perfect shade of red does not have to be expensive. I have found three shades of perfect red that can all be purchased at your local drug store or target.
1. N.Y.C. Big Apple Red Creme

The first day I wore this I got tons of compliments, and the best part is I only paid a dollar for it. yep, 1 buck. One girl told me "Ahh! ive been looking for that shade of red everywhere! where did you get it?" This is the perfect shade of fun a flirty casual red. perfect for that date to the ice cream shop.
2. Sally Hansen Hollywood Scarlet
All I can say is classy. This is the perfect shade of red to go with you perfect little black dress. Its classy and modern, and I paid about $5.

3. Essie a-list
The most expensive at $8 but definatly worth it. Its probably one of the truest reds i've ever seen, and the color is exceptionally rich.
Hope you guys had fun with the post, tell me what you think? have you found any other good shades?

Toms Shoes

I dont know how many of you guys have heard of toms shoes, but all i have to say is AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Dont believe me? well here's their movement message:
One for One

TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One. Using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what we're all about.
Our Story
In 2006 an American traveler, Blake Mycoskie, befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by caring TOMS customers.
Since our beginning, TOMS has given over 400,000 pairs of shoes to children in need through the One for One model.
Our ongoing community events and Shoe Drop Tours allow TOMS supporters and enthusiasts to be part of our One for One movement. Join us.
Why shoes?
Most children in developing countries grow up barefoot. Whether at play, doing chores or just getting around, these children are at risk.
Walking is often the primary mode of transportation in developing countries. Children can walk for miles to get food, water, shelter and medical help. Wearing shoes literally enables them to walk distances that aren't possible barefoot.
Wearing shoes prevents feet from getting cuts and sores on unsafe roads and from contaminated soil. Not only are these injuries painful, they also are dangerous when wounds become infected. The leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted parasites which penetrate the skin through open sores. Wearing shoes can prevent this and the risk of amputation.
Many times children can't attend school barefoot because shoes are a required part of their uniform. If they don't have shoes, they don't go to school. If they don't receive an education, they don't have the opportunity to realize their potential.
There is one simple solution...SHOES.
Of the planet's six billion people, four billion live in conditions inconceivable to many. Lets take a step towards a better tomorrow.

Not only are Toms Shoes for an awesome cause, but the shoes themselves are very stylish and comfy. If you like the casual, relaxed, artsy look, then Toms Shoes are just right for you. a few of my faves:

Olive: $44.00

Natural Burlap: $54.00

Natural Canvas: $44.00

Toms shoes has grown very popular over here were i am [west coast], and i think we should spread the word to the whole world. And besides, who doesnt like a new pair of shoes? :)
Wanna buy a pair for you or someone else? visit and help everyone out:)

what do you think of Toms Shoes?

The Vintage Fasion

Although the term" Vintage" was used for second hand clothing, now a days it is growing more and more popular among the fashion industry. Its unique custom made appearance is what makes it one of my most favorite looks. Inspired by the durable clothing of the early 20th century, vintage fashion can be seen everywhere, even on the red carpet. One of the biggest style icons, burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese can be seen in vintage:

A notable feature on most vintage pieces is the intricate detailing. Including embroidery, crochet, buttons etc. I think people who want to expand their creativity can usually find something in vintage fashion that they like because there is a wide variety to choose from.

Like the vintage fashion? well theres a way you can dress for less :)
Yep, thats right our favorite Forever21

[Top Left] Vintage Swing Dress $24.80

[Top Right] Faux Pearl Necklace $5.80

[Bottom Left] Lace Gloves $6.80

[Bottom Right] Headband $5.80

The History Of Fashion

What is Fashion? Lets see what Wiki has to say about it: "Fashion is the style and custom prevalent at a given time. In its most common usage however, "fashion" describes the popular clothing style. Many fashions are popular in many cultures at any given time. Important is the idea that the course of design and fashion will change more rapidly than the culture as a whole. Fashion designers aim to create wearable pieces of art.

The terms "fashionable" and "unfashionable" were employed to describe whether someone or something fits in with the current or even not so current, popular mode of expression. There exist a number of cities recognized as global fashion centers or fashion capitals. Fashion weeks are held in these cities where designers exhibit their new clothing collections to audiences. The main five cities are Tokyo, London, Paris, Milan and New York, all headquarters to the greatest fashion companies and renowned for their major influence on global fashion."

The latest and greatest fashions might be wacky, but from the designers perspective its art. Not all art makes sense, so you might have a little trouble figuring out a piece.

Whats you favorite type of fashion? Who's you favorite designer?
